ME and I returned to the US for several weeks in mid January. We spent two weeks in Jackson Hole, Wyoming skiing and visiting with the girls. This was the first time in over two years that we took the time for a skiing holiday. As most of you know we are avoid skiers and spend several weeks each winter in Jackson Hole.
Meredith has been living in Jackson since July of 2014. After graduating from college in May of last year she decided to take a year off to spend time in Jackson. A great place to be in both the summer and winter seasons. Beautiful scenery with many outdoor activities. Margot flew in from San Francisco to join us for a delayed holiday celebration. We also had our good friends Janet and Jared join us for a week and my cousin Richard with his wife and their daughter joining us for the second week. It is always a hoot to be with them.
The weather was sunny and warm for the first week, with temperatures in the mid 30’s during the day. Several days it reached the mid 40’s, very unusual for this time of year. The second week started out with 3-1/2 days of snow fall, totaling 31″. It was great to get some powder conditions and to ski in the snow, one of my favorite things to do.
We all had a wonderful time hanging out in one of our favorite places to be with the girls. I hope you enjoy the pictures.
Is the Mangy Moose restaurant still there???
